• We will join the Mayanot shulJewish House of Worship with a community Kiddush with plenty of chulent to go around! Enjoy food singing and l’chaims with this amazingly warm & welcoming community.

• Enjoy Shabbat Lunch at your hotel.

• Rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Yom HaZikaron (Holocaust Remembrance Day)

• After breakfast, travel to tour the new Yad VashemHolocaust Museum in Jerusalem Complex, was completed in the spring of 2005 a memorial to the six million innocent victims of the Holocaust.

• We will have to meet and speak with a Holocaust Survivor, pending availability.

• Tour Mt. Herzl's new Museum dedicated to the life of Theodore HerzlThe founder of modern political Zionism, the father of the Zionist Movement.

• At Mt. Herzl, visit the gravesites of Prime Minister Golda Meir, Theodore HerzlThe founder of modern political Zionism, Prime Minister Yitzhak RabinThe Assassinated Prime Minister [1922 -1995] & others.

• After breakfast, learn about the history of the struggle for Gush Eztion in a moving multimedia sound a light presentation at Kefar Etzion.

• Onto the holy city of Chevron, visit Ma’arat Hamachpela where our patriarchs and matriarchs are buried: Avraham, Yitzchok, Yaacov and their wives. Walk in their footsteps and those of King David, Ruththe great-grandmother of King David, and the holy Tzadeket Menucha Rochel. Tradition also holds this to be the burial place of ‘Adam & Eve.’

• Meet some of the very special families who live in this special neighborhood & Rabbi Danni Cohen the Chabad Rabbi of Chevron.

• In the afternoon return to JerusalemThe capital of Israel and enjoy a BBQ lunch in Gan Sacher Park.

• After breakfast, in honor of the soldiers who gave their lives for the establishment and freedom of our nation, we will spend the day volunteering on a northern IDF base with soldiers who defending our nation from Hezbullah last summer.

• Onward to TzfatOne of the 4 Holy Cities to absorb the special ambience of this town of contrasts, where ancient sites such as The ArizalRabbi Isaac Luria; Jewish Scholar and Mystic’s synagogue and the ancient burial site of Shlomo HaLevi (author of Lechah Dodi) exist side by side with today’s modern art galleries.

• Visit TzfatOne of the 4 Holy Cities's restored Old CityThe Holiest Center in the World including the artists' colony. TzfatOne of the 4 Holy Cities has much to offer in the way of art galleries, gift-shops and restaurants found tucked away amongst the winding, cobblestone streets.

• As you wander through the narrow, winding alleys, visit some of the beautiful synagogues and browse through the artists’ workshops and galleries found in the flourishing artists' quarter, and take a dip in the famous Mikveh of the Ari z"l in the mystical city.

• See the unique synagogues such as the Ari Sephardi, Ari Ashkenazi, Ari Beit Midrash, Caro Synagogue, Abuhav synagogue (built in 1490) and many more of the local ChassidimJewish Mystics.

Day 7, Apr 26, 2007

• Afterward breakfast, head on to Gamla – the MasadaAncient Fort on the shores of the Dead Sea of the north, to view the remains of the fortified village, which stood fast against the Romans and was an example to the Jewish nation of the time. At this battle, 5000 people died fighting the Romans.

• A beautiful 45 minute hike will bring us to Nachal Gamla, the highest waterfall in IsraelNation of the Jewish People, higher than Niagra Falls in USA/ Canada (but not as wide).

• Head onward further north to Katzrin, which was established in 1977 and was one of the first urban settlements in the Golan. While in Katzrin, see a fascinating audio-visual presentation describing the history of the Golan throughout the ages. Tour the ancient reconstructed Talmudic Village and a partially restored 1,500-year-old synagogue.

• Enjoy wine tasting & lunch at the Golan Heights winery.

• Next, we’ll head to a shooting range, a place where some of the secret forces of IsraelNation of the Jewish People are trained and we will practice shooting from an automatic UziIsraeli submachine gun gun, an AK47 (Kalashnikov). This is an amazing experience.

• Arrive in TiberiusOne of Israel's 4 Holy Cities and enjoy an evening cruise on the Sea of Galilee & Dinner at Pagodaone of the most beautiful restaurants in Israel Chinese Restaurant overlooking the water.
