Day 2, Feb 7, 2006

Tuesday-

• After breakfast we will go to the KotelHoliest place on Earth for shacharit.

• Enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological discoveries excavated in the Western Wall Tunnelslabyrinth of passageways at the Temple Mount. Inside, a most interesting model shows the different dwelling periods and history of the inhabitants of JerusalemThe capital of Israel. Stand on the site believed to be the nearest spot to the "Holy of HoliesThe room in the Jewish Temple where the Ark of the Covenant stood".

• Enjoy a visit to the Davidson CenterThe Jerusalem Archaeological Park – the newly opened visitors’ center, located at the JerusalemThe capital of Israel Archaeological Park.

• Take a Guided tour of the Jewish Quarter that was reconstructed after the city was unified at the conclusion of the Six-Day War in 1967. A special point of interest in the restored Jewish Quarter is the "CardoThe heart of Jerusalem's Old City Jewish quarter", meaning the "heart" of this ancient Byzantine City. View the unearthed main Roman thoroughfare and ancient marketplace lined with columns. Nearby see the four Sephardic synagogues.

• Vist the Tzmach tzedek shulJewish House of Worship built by the students of the Tzemach TzedekChabbad Shul in Jerusalem, the only shull that was not destroyed in the War in ’48.

• Visit the excavated ruins of a “Burnt House” that was part of JerusalemThe capital of Israel during the Second Temple period. These burned ruins remained undisturbed until they were uncovered in the 1970’s.

• Tour homes of courageous Jewish people who have redeemed homes from the Arabs in the Arab quarter of the Old CityThe Holiest Center in the World thru Ateret CohanimYeshiva founded in 1978 in the heart of the Old City near Arab Quarter. .

• Tonight, enjoy a “dine around evening” on your own. JerusalemThe capital of Israel is a kaleidoscope of different cultures, tastes and cuisines and tonight you will have a choice of one of the many wonderful restaurants for your dinner. You will find so many places to enjoy that the choice will be a difficult one. Day 3, Feb 8, 2006

Wednesday-

• After breakfast, depart the hotel and drive in an armored vehicle southwards to Beit LechemRachel, beloved wife of Jacob, mother of the Jewish people is buried here., birthplace of Dovid Hamelech. At the entrance to the town visit kever Rochel. Participate in TehillimBook of chants composed mainly by King David reciting at Kever Rochel. (pending approval)

• Learn about the history of the struggle for Gush Eztion in a moving multimedia presentation at Kefar Etzion.

• Visit with the leaders of the Chevron community the site of the Machpelah Cave, which is the burial place of our forefathers: Avraham, Yitzchok, Yaacov and their wives. Meet with Rabbi Danni Cohen and some of the special families that live there.

• Visit Rebetzin Menucha Rochel’s Kever.

• Enjoy Dinner at the oriental Israeli style YojaYoJa - wonderful Japanese restaurant in Jerusalem restaurant

Day 4, Feb 9, 2006

Thursday –

• Pass by the Israeli Supreme Court and the KnessetIsrael's Parliament Building - IsraelNation of the Jewish People's Parliament.

• Drive to Gush Etzion and stop in Bat Aiin, one of the successful settlements in this area and visit with the special families who have made their home here.

• On to Alon More where you will meet with Chabad Shliach in the Area – Rabbi Yehuda Rubin who will talk about the struggles and the every day life in gush etzion.

• Visit with the families in Yishuv Nachliel.

• Drive back to JerusalemThe capital of Israel for Dinner.

Day 5, Feb 10, 2006

Friday-

• Visit the newly-opened state-of-the art Holocaust Memorial Museum at Yad VashemHolocaust Museum in Jerusalem.

• Enjoy a walk through the Machane Yehuda MarketJerusalem's Vibrant Market (The Shuk) and experience a typical Friday afternoon in JerusalemThe capital of Israel.

• Prepare for Shabbat.

• Lively Kabbalat Shabbat davening at the KotelHoliest place on Earth

• Delicious Shabbat dinner at the hotel

Day 6, Feb 11, 2006

Saturday-

• Shabbat services at the Tzemach Tzedek ShulChabbad Shul in Jerusalem or a choice of neighborhood synagogues

• Sumptuous Shabbat lunch buffet at the hotel

• Shabbat rest

• Havdalah service

• After Shabbat, enjoy a beautiful Melave Malka with Chabad of JerusalemThe capital of Israel

Day 7, Feb 12, 2006

Sunday-

• Travel through the Golan Heights by jeep, off the beaten track, and gaze down over the Galilee as the Syrians once did.

• Meet with Rabbi Haber and discuss life in the shadow of terror.

• Ascend to the mystical city of Tzfas and meet with some of the families who live here.

• Visit the grave sites of the Ariz”l and the Rebbes brother Rabbi Yisroel Arie Leib.

• Dinner at Hotel

Day 8, Feb 13, 2006

Monday-

• After Breakfast, Check out of hotel and begin drive back toward central IsraelNation of the Jewish People.

• On to visit the ancient city of Akko (Acre) Situated here is the notorious prison that was built by the Turks and later used by the British, to imprison Jewish underground fighters during their struggle against British rule. Here, Jewish freedom fighters were led to the gallows with “Ani Maamin”, on their lips. The big escape by the Jewish underground from the Akko Prison was one of the most influential events that changed the British public's opinion and aided to the removal of their military forces from Palestine.

• Shop for unique craft items in Nachalat Binyamin’s colorful, open-air market, and see modern Tel AvivIsrael's largest city and biggest commercial center in action.

• Farewell Dinner with your VIP IsraelNation of the Jewish People representative.
